What favorites do
When you mark an exercise as a favorite, the AI treats it as a preferred option when generating routines. It's not a hard rule — the AI still balances volume, muscle groups, and your goals — but given two equivalent choices, it'll pick your favorites more often.
This is how you steer the AI toward exercises you actually like doing. If you hate overhead press but love landmine press, favorite the landmine press and you'll see it show up more often.
Adding a favorite
- On the dashboard, expand the Favorite Exercises section.
- Type in the search box (e.g., 'bench press').
- Click an exercise from the dropdown.
- It's added to your favorites tag list.
To remove a favorite, click the × next to its tag.
How many should you have?
There's a cap of 100 favorites but you don't need that many. A realistic list is 15-30 exercises that you genuinely prefer. If you favorite everything, the signal is lost and the AI has no way to prioritize.
Note
Favorites only affect AI-generated routines. Manually-built routines are 100% your choice — favorites don't change anything there.
