Finish onboarding first
The AI needs context to generate good workouts. After signup, you'll go through a 4-step onboarding: basic info, training goal, restrictions and problem areas, and available equipment. None of it takes more than 2 minutes but every field matters.
Be specific about restrictions. 'Bad shoulder — no overhead pressing' is much more useful than just 'shoulder.' The AI reads it literally.
Generate a routine
- On the dashboard, click Generate with AI under Generate New Routine.
- Optionally pick a focus (strength, hypertrophy, fat loss, mobility) and target body parts.
- Add a routine goal if you have one for this specific workout, e.g., 'Focus on upper body power.'
- Add notes if you want to steer the AI — 'Feeling tired today, keep it light' or 'I only have 45 minutes' both work.
- Set a max workout length and max exercise count if you want caps.
- Click Go. You'll be redirected to the workout page in about 20-30 seconds.
Log the workout
The workout page shows each exercise with sets, reps, and suggested weight. Next to each exercise you'll see your 'last time' reference if you've done it before. For each set, enter the weight you used and the reps you completed, then check the box when you're done.
Tap Complete Workout when you finish. Rate the session, leave optional notes, and submit. That data feeds back into the AI for your next routine.
Tip
You don't have to complete every exercise to submit. If you ran out of time or skipped something, just don't check it off. The AI notices and may adjust next time.
